Save Our Souls

The silent kiss of life blinks in and out as the restful lay congruent among us so still in exuberance.
Softest kiss stamps the tops of foreheads we make eye contact, the ropes are cut, and we sink into the unknown waves that wash us aside.
The again though the nights we find our sea legs and walk that mile from oceans deep to the graves we are supposed to keep so silent, and overgrown.

Hopeless is the fix as scenery cloaks us, as we walk not among the twists of tongues, and words that still hold the seal of life's seal, we try to cope, and deal but the silence is all we have to offer as cruel intentions mock our light, and move out of sight as the grass withers with the snow.
Take heart and think how did we wind up out here in the drink no paddle, or inkling of how to swim because all we know is how to sink into the abyss that is an expanse, a growing fly trap, a magnetized open grin that all naked eyes can see.

Our hearts still float but it's do or die and I hope that you'd get this message as we drift from sea, to sea where chart and compass come from? Dare not confess that it's me.
