Ocean Rains

Frequency in waves cover the open mouths grasping for a breathe of fresh air as the tides change, and the songs of ages age.
Humbled, undreamt float on.
The dreams we ignite that simmer on the salt of humidity in our hung up summer nights braiding their way through the tangles of our broken hearts.
Love comes close.
Dew points as we marinate in the back of our minds where the feral parts of who we were prey upon the sleepless nights.
How does this darkness always find me?
What is my name? As I roll into the open waters that carry me along the shore always a boat but never at sea.
How does it feel to lead with no lesson?
Sludge coffee boils in our veins as the lights of evening find a voice as sing along they drift into the ethereal.
The Uneducated we with our entitlement grasped, and our degrees like badges.
Alone in the drink, floating waiting to sink into the deep waters we laugh at when we sleep.
Cracks in our eye lids hold the dams, as we flood our own homes, and fade into the obsidian wake.
Piece by piece disintegrate or sink.
